We mourn with Paul Henze for Martha.
She died in her sleep at her home at Rock Mills during the night of 29 July 2009.
Her death is unfathomable. We lost a friend.

We met Martha years ago at a ACOR in California, and stayed in contact since this time.
We are thankful, that Martha gave at the Volkmanntreffen 2008 in Berlin a wonderful, high beloved lecture about her textil research in Ethiopia.
